We have one of those awkward rooms areas in our home that’s hard to figure out what to do with.
I know all rooms areas need to have a purpose. It’s purpose has been the landing at the top of the stairs, or how you get into the two guest rooms, or what you walk through to get to the balcony.
Now the time has come to define the room area. Craft ROOM! It’ll no longer be an area. I will follow my 9 simple steps.

This wall has a display of our vacation pictures. I like the display and may keep it in this location…humm???
This chair may find another location. The huge cabinet on the right is “the box”…really. It says so on the back! I made this cabinet 13 1/2 years ago to hide one of those giant TVs. I has not held a TV for the last 9 years.
Being honest this is the inside of “the box,” for the last 9 years it’s held junk!

I’m adding so many pictures of “the box” cause I plan to rework it to hold craft supplies.
Looking through the balcony door to the Mazatzal Mountains…or as they call them around here “mad as H – E – double toothpicks.”
This is currently the craft storage in the laundry room. Just too much stuff and too much laundry.
