We are planning a romantic Christmas dinner in front of the fireplace.
When I say we, I mean I. My guy doesn’t know…yet.
Won’t he be surprised!
Especially since I’m using dollar store items to decorate the table.
I love using red and black for Christmas.
At our local $ store I found these door knob hangers and love the deep red rusty bells.
So I cut the bells off the tree thingy {might use the tree somewhere else so I save it for now.}
Two $ store kitchen towels were cut in half, sewn on the cut side, and layered for napkins. I love to layer napkins. Then I tied a couple of bells together for napkin rings.
The $ store also had these large red wire leaf things. I bought three.
For the centerpiece I rolled one into a $ store glass cylinder, added a battery operated candle.

I moved a small round table in front of the fireplace and used the two extra wire leaves to pick out from our plates.
The extra bells were scattered around the center. Note the paper sticking out of some of the bells?
These will be little love notes, dreams for the future, or fortunes.
Ahhhh! Sweet.
